SUMMARY OF CHANGES TO THE PLAN REQUIRED AS A RESULT OF THE EXAMINATION REPORT
The final examination report (available at the top of the page HERE) concludes the Plan can proceed to a village referendum, providing the report's recommendations are incorporated first. The main ways in which those recommendations change the Plan are summarised in the file below:

FACT-CHECK OF THE DRAFT EXAM REPORT
Before publishing his final report, on 14 June the examiner invited the Parish Council and Breckland Council to check a draft version for any factual errors. He made clear that was not an opportunity to challenge or comment on his recommendations. We have not been able to tell you about this before as the examiner made clear that neither the draft report nor the fact-check reviews could be published or publicised before publication of the final report.
The examiner requested that the fact checks be returned by 28 June. The work group prepared its response, which was approved and returned by the Parish Council on 24 June, 4 days ahead of schedule. By contrast Breckland Council asked the examiner for a two week extension, and did not submit its fact check until 12 July.
As a result publication of the exam report was delayed until 13 July.
The Parish Council's and Breckland Council's response to the fact check can be found below:
We were pleased that the examiner accepted all but three of our recommendations, while at the same time accepting only two of those made by Breckland Council
