Public Hearing on the Plan

An online public hearing to discuss key topics relating to the Plan was held on Wednesday 17 February 2021, chaired by the examiner, John Slater, and with the Parish Council and Breckland Council each represented by 5 participants.
The hearing took the form of a series of questions by the examiner, with each party given opportunity to respond. The discussions will help the examiner in reaching his conclusions about the Plan in due course.
Members of the work group and our main consultant, Rachel Hogger, of Modicum Planning, spoke on behalf of the Parish Council.
It was clearly stated that the examiner would not reach any conclusions during the hearing nor indicate his reaction to any of the points raised by the two parties. Hence it would be both inappropriate and misleading for us to speculate on the outcome.

Should you wish to view a full recording of the hearing (which was broadcast live) you can find it at either
