A study was underatken by specialist consultants to assess thepotential impact on the village road network of developing 83 new houses on 11 allocated sites (as specified in the Regulation 14 version of the Plan). The report concluded that:
- Safe vehicular access can be provided to and from each allocated site;
- The increase in traffic flows arising from the new sites will be negligible by comparison with levels as at February 2020;
- There will be no increased queuing at the junctions of Pound Hill with Page's Lane and Richmond Road;
- There is no evidence to support a need for new footways between allocated sites on Hills Road / Ovington Road and the village school
